The Jane Family

It wasn't too long ago when Les and Jo Olson's cow, IE Thane Jane, broke the 50,000 lb barrier for milk produced in one lactation - a world record at the time. In 1998, we added Jane's Jetway daughter, CIE Thane Energy Jenny to our growing herd of Brown Swiss. Today, Jenny's offspring are a cornerstone of high milk production in the Twinkle-Hill herd.

After calving in October 2006 with an Alloy bull calf, Jenny was sold for health reasons. Her high producing family lines live on through her 2 milking daughters in the herd.

Jenna calved in June with an Agio bull. She had 90 lbs just 9 days fresh.
